I recently read a comment about the wide range of price in cookie cutters. The comment was comparing the cookie cutters bought at American Tradition Cookie Cutters and those sold at a well known craft store. As far as I am concerned there is no comparison. The average consumer buys what he/she likes but quality and price do play a factor. What is important to you? Quality, price, country of orgin? At American Tradition Cookie Cutters ALL these factors are important.
Quality--always strive for the best
Price--try to keep the price down
Country of Origin---MADE IN THE USA
When I shop any store and see cookie cutters I stop and look. One major thing I notice is that many of the cutters are made in China. With so much going on in this world, buying American is important to me. With all the recalls from items made in China, I would prefer not to buy them. Also with fuel costs the way they are "home-grown" items are best. Buying locally( city state country) helps conserve fuel. Buying from American Tradition Cookie Cutters is buying locally for Americans.
So you want to compare?
Quality--US standards are higher than other countries
Price--US made items can cost more, but you get what you pay for
Country of Origin--USA or ?????
Each of us have to decide for ourselves. I have decided "BUY AMERICAN"
